The messaging app has finally made the data transfer feature from Android to iPhone available as part of its beta program.

At the same time, several requirements must be met:

  1. The number for WhatsApp will be used on the iPhone as on the Android smartphone.
  2. iPhone must be new (or reset to factory settings).
  3. Both smartphones must be connected to charging and one Wi-Fi network.

After that, on the Android-smartphone it is enough to open the application "Transfer to iOS" and select WhatsApp in the list of available data. Next, follow the on-screen instructions.

Note that data transfer from Android requires the presence of the latest device firmware: iOS 15.5 and above. At the same time, you can get data even from an old smartphone – up to Android 5.0.

Currently, the feature is only available in the latest beta: WhatsApp 2.22.10.70 on the iPhone and 2.22.7.74 on Android. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.
