Microsoft Advertising has announced professional service ads. This is a new advertising format designed for service providers such as insurance agents, realtors, etc.

This format is new, but not really. Microsoft Advertising releases automatic ad types for specific categories. The company now has formats for advertising for cruises, cars, tours and events, credit cards and health insurance.

According to Microsoft, in the early stages of this pilot project, advertisers who used professional service ads were able to increase conversion rates by about 60% compared to regular text ads.
