After testing, the Instagram team is launching ads in the Instagram Shop tab around the world. Clicking on the ad will open a page with full product information, additional images and other brand products.
The ads in the Shop tab will work according to the auction model and will only be shown on mobile devices. Currently, Shop has two columns, which display products, while ads will appear at the bottom left.
The number of ads users see will depend on how they use the social network and the number of customers in a particular store.
