Targeted advertising will soon start running in the messenger. Here are the details:
- You will be able to place ads yourself through an advertising cabinet – presumably, it will be located at ads.telegram.org and telegram.org/ads.
- Ads will be displayed in public telegram feeds.
- Targeted ads will be located below all posts in the channel – in the so-called "top".
- Only channels will be allowed to be advertised, as external links are prohibited.
- Leaders of telegram channels will not be asked: it will not be possible to refuse to have parasitic ads in their channel.
