New clause added to Facebook advertising policy

The new Facebook Ads restrictions are outlined in Section 23, misleading statements.

So, now you can't:

  • promote inactive features in mobile applications;
  • Create creatives with an inactive video play button and a disabled choice of answer;
  • add non-clickable images of buttons, notifications, check boxes to ads.

The changes took effect on July 8, 2021.
