Starting June 30, 2022, advertisers will no longer be able to create and edit long-form text ads in Google Ads search campaigns.
In the service account, when setting up these ads, advertisers will see a warning about the changes that will take place. But Google will continue to show existing expanded text ads to users.
Advertisers will still be able to:
- collect statistics about their effectiveness;
- pause and resume displays;
- delete ads.
The Google team recommends that you start working with adaptive ads now to prepare for the changes.
