The Google Analytics team has made several changes to permission management.
- The "Manage Users" permission has been removed. An administrator role has appeared, which combines user management and the editor role.
- The "Edit", "Share", "Read and Analyze" permissions have been renamed to Editor, Analyst, and Viewer.
- A new "None" option has been added. It shows that the user does not have any roles for a particular resource, but may have roles for others.
- New Data Restrictions:
- "No Cost Metrics" – restricts viewing cost metrics in Google Analytics 4 resources;
- "No Revenue Metrics" – restricts viewing revenue related metrics.
