Starting today, Google will show more privacy-compliant queries in its search query report for campaigns with search and dynamic search ads.
The data will now show up in user reports for queries that are received starting Feb. 1, 2021. And the metrics will have more consistency with the rest of Google Ads.
The purpose of the update is to help users identify more relevant keyword topics. This will make it easier to optimize ad text, landing pages, etc.
Google experts have assured that as part of their ongoing commitment to privacy, they are working to ensure that its thresholds are the same across all services. In Google Ads, this means that query data in a user account collected before September 1, 2020, and not meeting the current thresholds for reporting search queries, will be available in reporting until February 1, 2022
