A global tag for automatic data collection is being tested

Beta testing has begun for a global tag to automatically collect data that users provide.

To use the new feature, advertisers must: 

  • leave the automatic data collection option active, which is off by default; 
  • accept the terms of use for user data.

Internet marketer Dario Zannoni, author of the Twitter post and screenshot, shared that the new feature works in a similar way to enhanced conversions.
