Google announced that the AdWords API will stop working starting April 27, 2022. This means that developers using it need to switch to the Google Ads API before the above date.
According to the company, the seventh version of the Google Ads API now functionally surpasses the AdWords API with new features and updates for tools such as recommendations, asset management and new types of ads. The existing features are also improved here: Keyword Planner, Changelog and Billing.
Any developers who apply for a new developer token after April 29, 2021 will only have access to the Google Ads API.
