Updates to the Audience Report and Audience Targeting in Google Ads

Google Ads has sent out emails to some advertisers about changes to the Audience report and audience targeting features.

What changes are expected:

  1. Reuse audiences

After the advertiser creates an audience, it will be saved.

This feature was in Performance Max and will be coming soon to Discovery, Video Action and App campaigns.

  1. Simplified reports

Google Ads will consolidate reports on demographics, audience segments, and some excluded segments into one "Audience" tab.

  1. New titles in reports

Some names will change in audience reports and in the Google Ads console. For example, "Audience Types" would be called "Audience Segments" and "Remarketing" would be called "Your Data."
