Known Google accounting time for geotargeting settings

The source –

Google employee John Mueller responded to a question about how long it takes for a search engine to start accounting for targeting settings in Search Console.

It usually takes anywhere from a week to a month or two for Google to pick up geo-targeting settings. In the case of news sites, this can be faster.

However, geotargeting can only be specified at the level of specific URLs, and is not available for domain resources.
