Changes to the “Potential Reach” section of Facebook Ads campaign settings

The "Potential Reach" section in Facebook Ads campaign settings will now be called "Estimated Audience Size." It will not show a specific number of users to reach (for example, 15,000), but their possible range (12,000-18,000).

At the same time, the basic principles of the section with the forecast will remain the same. The system will continue to estimate potential coverage based on: 

  • targeting; 
  • places of placement; 
  • number of ad views in Facebook apps and services over the past 30 days, and others.

The new data display format is being used to predict campaign results for the day and estimate the number of people who might have interest.

The update does not yet work in all Facebook Ads accounts and is being rolled out gradually.
