Google Merchant Center introduced the [pause] attribute, which allows you to temporarily stop and quickly resume displaying products in ads.

Previously, some merchants set the [availability] attribute to [out_of_stock] to stop showing ads. But since the beginning of 2023, the [pause] attribute should be used to quickly stop showing ads for up to 14 days.
