For example, if the Review snippet did not contain the author's name, Search Console used to report the error as "Missing field "name". Now the error will look like this: "Missing field "name" (in "author")". Additional text in brackets will explain what exactly needs to be fixed.
The new rules will affect:
- advanced results status reports;
- URL checking tool;
- the advanced results checker.
At the same time:
- All open errors will be automatically closed.
- New error names will appear in the report, which will tell you what you need to add to the markup of structured data.
Google also noted that if a correction check was previously requested in Search Console, it will need to be requested again.
