The Google team has announced that the rollout of the Page Experience desktop update is now complete. Although its staff had previously reported that the process would last until the end of March.
No significant changes to the SERPs are expected, as they have since the launch of mobile search. As a result of the update, the Page Experience signal has become a ranking factor for desktop pages. As noted, it will take into account the three main Internet metrics: LCP, FID, CLS and related thresholds.
No other aspects of page usability, such as the use of HTTPS and the presence of intrusive cross-page ads, have changed.
The page experience rollout is now complete for desktop.
