In version 8.0, the weighting of the main site performance metrics has changed. The update has already been launched in PageSpeed \u200b\u200bInsights, and in Google Chrome it will become available after the release of version 93 (the release is scheduled for August 31, 2021).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Major changes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Revision of performance metrics.<\/li><li>The estimation of the total block time (TBT) has become more stringent.<\/li><li>The first content rendering (FCP) score has become more stringent.<\/li><li>Cumulative Layout Displacement (CLS) estimation has become less stringent.<\/li><li>It is expected that as a result of this update, about 60% of site owners will notice positive changes in their resources.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>New weight:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"340\" src=\"https:\/\/ppcseo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/k-novosti-metriki-08.06.21.png\" alt=\"Image for news Lighthouse has changed the weighting of key performance indicators\" class=\"wp-image-3448\" title=\"Lighthouse 8.0\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ppcseo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/k-novosti-metriki-08.06.21.png 700w, https:\/\/ppcseo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/k-novosti-metriki-08.06.21-300x146.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, Google has updated the Lighthouse API.
