John Mueller, an employee of Google, recently confirmed again that the exact counting of links on the Internet is technically impossible<\/strong>. He first reported this in 2019, claiming that if any service offered such functionality, it was only estimates and guesswork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, the specialist advised webmasters not to focus on the number of links shown by any particular tool. He explained that there is no right way to count links, it’s better to think of links as a way for people to get to your site, rather than a metric of its own<\/strong>.
