Google has disabled the “URL Options” tool in Google Search Console \u2013 it is no longer available to users on April 26. When trying to access the tool, a corresponding message pops up.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Google previously explained that it stopped supporting the tool because it was of “low value” to both the search engine itself and to Search Console users. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Google argues that the tool disconnection will not affect users, but Western experts advise webmasters to observe whether there are changes in the indexing and ranking of pages of their sites in the coming weeks. The search engine advises webmasters who need a higher level of control to set rules in the robots.txt file or use the hreflang attribute to specify other content languages. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
