News from 2022 of Google Partners Program

This program offers three levels of partnership: Member, Partner and Lead Partner. The higher the level, the more opportunities and benefits a company has with Google. Accordingly, it is most advantageous to get into the Premium Google Partners ranking.
In order to get Partner status, you need to meet the requirements, the fulfillment of which is checked on a daily basis. The requirements for the Partner level in 2022 are as follows:

  1. Optimization rate in the managing Google Ads account must be at least 70%.
    Advertising spend in managed accounts must be a minimum of $10,000 in the past 90 days.
  2. At least half of the company’s strategic ad planners have been certified in Google Ads, but a maximum of 100. Having at least one certification for each product family (search network, CMC, video campaigns, sales campaigns, app campaigns) with a minimum spend of $500 in the past 90 days.

Lead Partner status is available to approximately 3% of the total number of companies in each country. They are the ones who receive the Google Lead Partner badge. The status itself is reviewed annually. The best participants are selected according to the following criteria

  • customer base growth (current and previous years are compared);
  • Customer retention (percentages based on current and prior year numbers)
  • investment in products other than search advertising (determined by the percentage of spending on campaigns, considered for each calendar year)
  • advertising expenditures for the year (determined by the sum of expenditures in all managed accounts for each calendar year).
